As an elementary art teacher, you are tasked with introducing your students to the world of art. While it can be challenging to select the right artists to teach your students, some artists have made significant contributions to the art world that your students should be familiar with. Here are ten famous artists every art student should know.
  1. Pablo Picasso is one of the most famous artists of the 20th century. His innovative style of art, which included Cubism and Surrealism, revolutionized the art world. Picasso is known for his paintings, sculptures, and collages that depict human form and emotion in a unique way.
  2. Vincent van Gogh is another famous artist whose work is well-known and highly regarded. His style of painting is characterized by bold brushstrokes and vivid colors that capture the essence of nature and human emotion. He is most famous for his paintings of sunflowers and starry nights.
